Course Description:

Supervised research in music perception with review of relevant theoretical and methodological literature.


Detailed Description:

This course is normally offered on an individualized basis as a directed study. Students are typically expected to pursue an experiment including an appropriate literature review. Topics of research may pertain to any area of music cognition, including perception, cognition, musical development, emotion, etc.


Pre-Requisites:

Completion of Music 838 is required. The student should also have a graduate standing.
