  • Bad wiring can (certainly) wreak havoc. (e.g., release hallucinations)

  • Auditory memory is not essential (it seems) for musical enjoyment. (Peretz, 1996)

  • Oxytocin (probably) causes music to stick in the brain. (Freeman, 1995)
